color choices: help please?

OK, I have a website going up. It's simple and flash-based. (Flash 6 to be exact, but if I can figure it out I'm stepping it down to 5). Anyway, I need you guys to take a look and tell me what I should do about colors. There are only 4 of them.

I don't really like the blue on the first page. I'll accept any other comments, as well, but specifically I'd like some feedback on the colors. My roommate thinks they clash too much with each other and are all to "hard." While I tend to agree, I really have no idea what color choices to go with so I'm looking for suggestions.
Remember, it's a work in progress.

Nothing wrong with the choice of colours, just perhaps the intensity of them.
Try these out for size:
Red: #dc143c
Blue: #000080
Green: #6b8e23
Purple (although it's not too bad already): #4b0082
If you're really colour concious for the needy masses (those without millions of colours on display), try a web-snap to those colours in Photoshop.

OK, I tried a version with your colors. Comments are welcome. I like them all except for the green. I'm kinda neutral on that color. I don't know. What do you guys think?

Also, I hadn't done this before, but now that I link directly to the flash animation, I rather like that it fills up the whole browser. Normally I don't like flash like that because it tends to get slower on older machines, but I don't have animation so maybe it wouldn't hurt. I could have it link directly to flash rather than HTML with flash embedded. Comments?
