I coded this as a learning project for Obj-C. As it turns out, many users are still sending me praise and suggestions on how to improve this thing.

I unfortunately don't have the free time to work on this anymore and, because I don't know much about C, it would probably take me several weeks just to remember how I made it work...

For those who want to now, this is still THE only app doing this for the mac (there are several on the PC) and, as far as interface goes, it is probably one of the best.

If an able coder was willing to give a hand with the programming, I would be happy to help with the math part of it. I suspect someone who know what he is doing would be able to finish it fairly quickly.

If I have wasted your time, I apologize. I thought I should give it a try before giving up completely.

Looks nice. To bad I'm not a diver though, otherwise I'd be glad to continue development on this thing

Good app and if had an interest in diving I'd be willing to help you. I don't know enough about the subject to improve the app successfully.

There are not too many divers doing gas blending (this is fairly advanced stuff);
There are even less divers using a Mac...
I seem to be the only one who does it all (use a Mac, diving, gas blending and a little bit of coding).

This is really annoying because we (divers on a Mac) get no support for anything. One of the very cool features of some dive computers is that you can download dive profiles into a log book application. These app only with on M$ Windows (although some people are trying to make something happen on the linux side - see www.linuxdiving.org).

There are 3 diving related apps that have been sorely missed by mac divers:
1. A log book app (with dive computer download capability)
2. A decompression app (I ported the CLI app MPlan so at least there is this)
3. A gas blending app (mine, I suppose, is better than nothing).

I had to buy VirtualPC almost exclusively because of the above. I guess I will have to try again...
