I just updated my dev tools hoping that Apple would have supplied some basic Bluetooth code. They did not.

Anyone know how I can get started programming for Bluetooth enabled applications on OS X?

Thanx, I just noticed them too. Hopefully I can find some other OS X Bluetooth resources. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There is documentation in the headers of the bluetooth frameworks - but it has not been turned into HTML yet.

I used headerDoc to generate some HTML docs - you can get them here:

Bluetooth isn't the kind of tech you can understand by reading the class documentation though - it's quite complex.

Well, I guess I am not so interested in Bluetooth itself. I really just want to find out how to use its services in my applications.

They just aren't linked to from the main documentation page.

There are also some utilities you might find useful in /Developer/Applications/Extras/Bluetooth.

Thanx, I have checked this documentation and I can see why we don't see more Bluetooth enabled apps as of yet. The documentation is certainly not the best I have seen. Looks like I will have to wait for Apple to update their Bluetooth software. Perhaps in 10.2.4 - has anyone heard anything about this?
