this may seem insignificant, but when i was using project builder in 10.1, i thought i had files load into the same window, and then used the arrows in the top LH corner to move from one file to the next (i should point out that I am only working with very basic java files, no project "builds" or anything more complicated).

I can't seem to get this to work in 10.2's project builder. instead, every file I open is opened in a new window that cascades down the screen. Like I said, a trivial issue, but does anyone know where the setting is to change this?

Quick and easy fix:

Go to preferences
choose Task Templates
Choose basic setting
Choose single window
Click ok.

Thanks for the reply Detrius, but I had actually tried that and it didn't work, so i wasn't sure if that was the right thing. And I just tried it again and quit the application--still nothing. I think I might have some curruptions in my system and I'm waiting to get my hands on a zip drive so I can back up and do a clean install.

This still doesn't work for me, meaning, with the above settings, each file I open gets a new window. Anyone have any ideas? (I did a clean install of 10.2 a week ago for an unrelated reason and now have Dec 2002 developer tools instead. Its just an annoyance at this point.)
