Hi,

Im interested in having like a button to show or hide a text box, so I would like when you hide it the window auto-sizes itself like the text box was never there. Is there anyway to do this? If so can someone give me a tutorial/howto please?

Thanks a lot.

does the Finder's info panel violate the HIG?
does the Finder's "Connect To Server" panel violate the HIG?
does Process Viewer.app violate the HIG?

I think the part of the HIG you are refereing to, discourages the hiding of controls rather than views.

Use the pre-10.2 nib format. The new one is broken.
