i've installed teh fixMovie extension and now viewers are able see and control the audio/movie clip on the page they open, but there are a few problems:

1. the clips begins automatically - how do i get it to play only when the viewer clicks on the play button.

2. how do i make the page Windows-friendly, so they can see it without downloading Quicktime. right now it's an mpeg file. what is the most universal setting?

i'm waiting for a dreamweaver mx book to arrive but in the meantime, any suggestions?

thanks

1. [param NAME="autoplay" VALUE="false"]

2. if it's an mpeg, WMP should handle it by default

thank you - that should solve my autoplay problem!

i was looking through the latest Macworld and they had an article on converting aiff files to WAV so that Windows can play them. i tried it but got this insanely huge file (41MB) compared to the aiff to mp3 version i have at the moment (4MB). so bare with me here, but if left in mp3 format, does this cause a problem for Windows WMP or Real player. i assumed it didn't but got some complaints from some Windows folks that they were getting error msgs.
