I run a website and I'd like to give it an icon that appears in the address bar like many professional sites do.
can anyone tell me how to do this?

for some reason my favicon shows up fine in safari but not in chimera... anyone know why?

The website linked above isn't a very good one, IMO. Clearly a commercial venture. Here's a link to a Photoshop plugin.

Just make a 16x16 pixel icon in any program, copy it to Graphic Converter. Go to save as windows icon. call it 'favicon.ico' and place it in the root directory of your website.

The two browsers probably use different size icons, make one of each size and incorporate them into a single .ico file.
