I am in need of good book for learning how to program in Cocoa. Can anybody suggest a good book to an experienced mainframe developer? Thanks in advance.

I found the O'Reilly book "Learning Cocoa" to be excellent. I believe the new edition has a different name now, and people say its much better still. I think it mentions Objective C in the title now.

I've heard that the one by Scott Anguish et al. (Cocoa Programming) is pretty good too. It cover some Jaguar stuff, unlike Hillegass. I've browsed it, planning to buy it.

Go to www.stepwise.com and click on the picture of the book. You'll get tips on other books at Amazon.

The above 3 books are all excellent. Personally, I've read the Hillegass one, but the O'Reilly book is newer. I've skimmed it, and it seems pretty good as well. Be sure to get the SECOND EDITION though.
