Is there a way to force a fresh page to be sent to the user's browser? I know here at work everything is cached so that the proxy server checks for a 'newer' page before downloading. Is there a way to prevent this on the website side? I know you can disable this feature in IE, but are there any other approaches?

I put the following in all my dynamic pages:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="PRAGMA" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="EXPIRES" CONTENT="0">

It's the pragma directive that tells proxies not to cache.
