(Warning: Tripod site, may contain pop-ups for those using MSIE)

My question is in regard to the navigation frame. The onmouseover images preload as they should. When a section is moused over, two things are supposed to happen:

1. The moused over image appears.
2. Text appears in the bottom status window.

#2 does not work. I can get it to work in the rest of the site whenever someone mouses over a link. I looked over the code repeatedly and cannot figure out what is wrong.

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's self.status that you should be modifying? I thought it was window.status that you changed to do statusbar text tricks.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Yes, it's self.status

It works fine when I do it on the other pages.

Try parent.status - I imagine the window.status object is only going to apply to the topmost frameset, not the children.

I believe I found the problem.

There was a quotation mark following the switch.src's and BEFORE the self.status, thus terminating ONMOUSEOVER prematurely.

I took out that quotation mark and all seems to work.

Can anyone else confirm that the status window text now appears? I tested with IE (Safari cannot do this quite yet).
