I no nothing about AppleScript, but should learn (same with programming so I can do a couple apps I want to create).
Anyways, I want a folder action that monitors my drop boxes, and alerts me with sound, message, and opens the drop box (column view). It also would be useful for the message to tell what file was dropped.
How do I write this script? I have people uploaded filez to me all the time and it would be very useful to know when they are uploaded, so I don't have to keep checking the drop boxes.
Oh it would also be useful for it to work when I mount my home folder when I am away on the Mac I am using when away.
