Is there anyone out there currently working on developing better integration of Bochs with Mac OS X?

For those who don't know, Bocks is an open source free Intel system emulator for Unix/X11 (you can run windows, linus, etc on it).

The MacBochs port works okay, but takes some fiddly setting up, and is very poorly integrated into the OS. It would be nice to see some of the features of Virtual PC incorporated. Eg, access to real CD's, not just difficult to create images, use of real files on disk in the emulated environment, etc.

Easier configuration would be nice to, instead of manually editing a text file.

Now that Microsoft has bought Virtual PC, it would be nice to see some better competition (although VPC is an excellent product).

VPC is also prohibitively expensive. You could get better performance by purchasing a second hand real PC for about the same price.
