Hey everyone! I'm looking for a web based HTML editor like <a href="http://www.editworkspro.com">EditWorksPro</a>. But I would like something that is browser and platform independent. Anyone know anything like this?

you can open terminal in OS X or similar app for other platforms and SSH into any server and use the command line to edit the code using "joe"

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. SSH works fine if I'm doing the changes but I need a gui solutions for endusers. The code generated by the gui tool will then be stored in a database and pulled to dynamicly generate the page(s).

take a look at TikiWiki or another content management system

they provide a way to edit the pages from any computer, you would probably have to fiddle around a little to customize it, but that's probably the easiest way.

moveable type is popular, and Zope may be a bit more sophisticated and is also open source. But I haven't tried either of them.
