hi
i want to download an open source project via cvs.
so i typed into the terminal
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/name login
and then
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/name co modulename
but instead of downloading the source files, the terminal gives me this error:
cvs checkout: cannot find password
cvs [checkout aborted]: use "cvs login" to log in first
please help me. thanks

You did replace name and modulename with the correct values, right?

cvs -d:pserver:@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/name login
cvs login: CVSROOT ":pserver:@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/name" is not fully-qualified.
cvs [login aborted]: Please make sure to specify "user@host"!
