A client of mine is coming over in about 4 hours to work on some ideas for his website. He wants to see something in brushed metal like the iDVD interface.

I need examples of sites, or a repeating brushed metal pattern. Please HELP!!

What is the plugin I can go online and purchase TODAY that will help me create repeating backgrounds in photoshop.

If you done something similar please let me see or show me how you dealt with the brushed metal.

No ideas sorry dude.

If you have developer tools installed , I'm sure you can make a one-window app with brushed metal, no interface elements.

Another suggestion is to open Photoshop. Just make a greay rectangle. Go into blending options. Click bevel and emboss. Then click texture and pick the sorta yellow/mustard colour one. Not brushed metal, but in grey it looks sorta close.

Sorry I can't be of any more help.

look at adobe exchange... someone has posted a set of mac textures which includes brushed metal.

for the website you can take the 128 x 128 pattern from your extras.rsrc (try themepark)

one of the problems is that if you want it to look realistic it needs to be lighter in the middle of the page then on the sides. if you really want to have this effect you can make a semi translucent png , and put it as the background of a 100% x 100% object
