It appears that it would save a bunch of money if 1 person in a group of 10 started a LLC company and hired 9 employees who would have to invest $350ish to become an employee.
The company then purchases ADC premier for $3500 as an asset. All 10 employees order their respective computers according to ADC hardware purchase prices. Finding a purchase that is $350 less than retail isn't that hard to do.
Other assests to divy out:
OSX new version (if one is released)
OSX Server
Web Objects
(1) Ticket to WWDC
Idealy a few of these folks would be developers.
Your employment contracts would have to include the "read, understand and abide by" all the premier membership terms plus all the CYA you need. Meeting the terms of the agreements are not to hard.
Just an idea for now but if I still lived in Seattle, I'd have enough friends, who use Macs, who also work in software dev, who could afford $350ish, who would want to purchase new hardware within a year.
