I've got to convert some old foxpro files over to a format that I can use for a cocoa app...any suggestions? Thanks.

I only have Office on my PC at work, and not on my Mac, so I'm not entirely sure if this works in Mac Office as well... But one really simple way of converting DBF files is to open them in Microsoft Excel. Yes, Excel.

I don't know what format you want the data converted to, but Excel will help you a long way. In Excel you can save your DBF file in any other format, such as easily readable tab or comma separated text files.

Those kinds of files can be read by pretty much anything.

FileMaker will also read DBF files. Have you checked AppleWorks as well? It may read them too.
