phpbb is probably a good bet

webpage @ http://phpbb.sourceforge.net/

to do this you need php installed on your webserver... you can either download and compile the source (not particularly fun, and requires the developer tools)

source avalible @ http://www.php.net

or you can download binarys of apache 2/php/mysql at various sites such as:

http://www.serverlogistics.com/apache2.php
http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/
http://ananasphp.giga-services.net/

PHP already is installed. You just need to enable it - you have to modify the mime types file and httpd.conf.

Search Google for instructions - there's plenty of sites that tell you how.
