I recently noticed people viewing my site and others would often use the browser to boost or shrink type sizes totally ruining the layouts.

Was wondering what general opinions are on this?

if you want an opinion mine is that the web site is designed for other people (usually) so *make* it for them.

if you want tips, just make sure your text is in blocks that are able to stretch with the increased text size. form over function in some scenarios.

he he If you want true 'artistic' control then it's something like flash I'm afraid. But the user may not like it. But then again screw the user

Thanks! I've taken your advice and made a slight design adjustment to accommodate type adjustments. Less painful then I thought :-)
