I'm working on a site for a client of mine and am having the hardest time getting every browser to see everything nicely.

I've got everything looking okay on IE for Windows, Netscape for Windows, Safari, and even Camino.

But, as luck would have it, it does not play well in IE for Mac. I've looked at the source code until I'm blue in the face. I don't see what the problem is, can anyone help me?

You will notice that IE for Mac causes the menu to stretch out and insert horizontal scroll bars. I have a feeling this is some small bug, can anyone advise?

first off take a look at:

http://developer.apple.com/internet/css/ie5cssbugs.html

my guess is that it has to do with the "width=100%"

i believe ie will allow that center frame to be 100% of the entire window, instead of 100% of it's frame.

try taking out the table width=100%, see if ie can decide that on it's own...

the joys of developing for a large audiance

Why use frames anyways? You can pretty easily create the same static left and right images using CSS, without resorting to frames Also, I suggest you look at getting guide book by Jeffrey Zeldman. It's an excellent book that'll help keep your site forward (and backward) compatible. In fact I'd suggest the book to any webdesigner. It shows you how you can make your site accessible to any device (this includes Google!) without creating additional versions and reduce page bloat significantly. Among other advantages.

P.S. Nice site! And if you choose to take the CSS route, I can help you out with any problems you have getting the site cross-compatible.
