XCode has been in some (lucky) hands for a while and not much info about it is out there. I am curious to know how you feel about it? Do you find yourself reverting to PB or have you fully adapted to the new coding lifestyle?

Is the compile in the background a noticible performance drag?

The dev preview of Xcode works on Jaguar. I am a CS student, and was thinking of installing it. Is it stable enough for everyday use? Right now my studies only have me coding in C++, C, Assembly, and Java, so if the Cocoa IDE is screwed up, it's of no concern to me.
I have December's dev tools w/ the GCC 3.3 update, but I'm unaware of how to make GCC 3.3 persistent in Project Builder, so each time I create a new project I have to manually setup the GCC 3.3 build environment, which is why I want to install Xcode. Thoughts?
jesse ;-)
