Anybody know of an easy to use mySQL + php package out there with an easy to use gui?

I cut my teeth on a pc using easyphp and now I'm kinda missing that straightforward simplicity.

Otherwise anyone know of a good tutorial for learning to do this stuff via the terminal?

probably the simplest is
http://www.serverlogistics.com/
(check the side bar for complete apache, php, and mysql)

all of those are binary packages, and have a fairly idiot-proof(no offense meant) installation
