the scroller works really bizarre on a windows machine unlike my Mac. it works fine for a while but then, you can't rreally control the scroller at all, plus you don't even have to have the mouse over it to scroll

it maybe because the text is set to be selectable- turn that off and it might fix what you are talking about. Selectable text in a scroller will scroll to allow you to select it all- but the downside is it scrolls as you are selecting it, and starts acting wierd.
