Could someone with Panther comment on the support or lack thereof for the dl* (eg. dlopen) family of calls for dynamically loading ccde.

I don't know if Panther provides the dl* section of code, but if you're stuck you can look at:

http://developer.apple.com/technotes....html#Section6

This will give you an overview of some substitutions you can make to get your code running.
