running 6.1 on 10.2.6 no problems whatsoever until...

uploading some new files, connection craps out and boom dreamweaver comes crashing down. restart it and begin uploading files again, as soon as i'm done, open up a new file from a template and see broken images all over, oh wonderful. the odd part tho', i take a step back and notice every image in dreamweaver is broken. icons for the toolbars in the program itself and basically any graphical representation as well.

very confused, make a random test page with some single random image, the instant it comes up it is brokne in theprogram but is perfectly visible in a browser. as i understand dreamweaver, the entire program is built like a webpage. it seems as thoough dm has lost the ability to recognize any sort of image.

i tried removing all verious preference files and the restarting the app, this also did nothing. i am not an uber geek, but this strikes me as a fairly peculilar problem.

any advice out there? figured i could have posted to software forum, but probably the people witht the most intimate knowledge are here.

other question is, i'm willing to delete the app and just reinstall, just curious what do i need to hold on to preference wise? i don't belive the base prefence file is corrupted, because as i mentioned before, having DM create a new one did nothing.

again thanks in advance.

On Macromedia's web site there is a document that explains how to do a full uninstall of Dreamweaver. I would recommend finding that doc and doing the full reinstall.
