Seems there's a way to get non-native form buttons in Safari after all. Currently this appears to be considered a bug, but it's one that I certainly hope they don't fix. It's a best-of-both-worlds situation to have the ability to do both.

For the record, creating buttons with a BUTTON tag seem to be non-native in Safari, while creating buttons with the INPUT tag yields Aqua. The question is, are BUTTON buttons stylable? I'm going to do some of my own experimentation now, but I thought I should give people a heads-up.

For the record, in some of my preliminary testing, the buttons do seem to accept CSS styling! This is a Happy Happy Day for stylable-forms users.

That is good. Could you post some screen shots? I'd like to see but I'm stuck on Windows at the moment.

Also I'd really like to see stylable scroll bars as well.

from left to right:
camino safari IE

notice that the second field in safari looks like a 'windows' field, which probably means it is affected by css
