Hi folks,

My company has just released version 1.0 of Contemplate(tm), a free, open source web templating system. We've built dozens of sites with earlier, internal versions, and now we're ready to share this version with the world!

Contemplate separates different production tasks and allows writers, front-end developers, and web programmers to focus on what they do best. It's available for servers running ASP, PHP, or Perl, and uses identical content and template formats so your sites can be fully cross-compatible.

If you're a web developer and would like to learn more, please visit http://www.typea.net/software/contemplate.

Cheers,
Arlo

Oooh ... it looks like the automatic linking feature here had included the period at the end of the sentence within the anchor tags of my link, so that was leading to a 404 error before. My apologies to anyone who tried visiting! I've edited my original post and fixed that manually.

Have a great weekend....

Wow this looks like exactly what I need.

I'm tasked with rebuilding my work website and I want to hand-write the layout using css and then "plug in" the content. I was actually considering writing a crude script frontend so I can have people submit plain text files for content.

I will read through the documentation over the weekend and see if this will work for me. Thanks!
