Does anyone know if REALbasic has these abilities built-in (i.e. functions)?

I am looking to do some router development work using REALbasic on OSX.

Perhaps there is a third-party library someone is aware of if this is not already a part of REALbasic's reportoire.

Thanks in advance.....

Telnet is the most simple socket protocol in the world. I wrote a RB telnet client in about 30 seconds.

Also remember that with OSX you can use all the command-line tools. So you could use a command-line tool and use a RealBasic shell in interactive mode to control it.
