I have a small business client that wants to get MC/Visa alongside his ecommerce shop for phone orders. I've done a lot of infrastructure work previously, but nothing much with the actual ecommerce connectivity. So, I'm a newbie to merchant accounts and such.

He has been in business 30 years. He grosses about $250,000 a year and has a very large variety of products for a small business ( around 3000 ). He is going to have an online store, but now it's just a catalog. But he want a credit card virtual terminal until the store is functional.

I've looked around and differnt options like echo and chanrge.com and merchant express (and others). There's a lot of them.

Do you all have any recommendations? Here's a preliminary list so far:

Merchantexpress.com
Charge.com
echo-inc.com
usms.com (usmerchant systems)

So, any recommendations on or good/bad expriences. Any other ones I should consider? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Merchantexpress.com is an Authorizenet.com reseller. I'm not sure about the others. Which Authorizenet reseller do you use?
