Hey troops,

Just wondering if it's possible for me to host my own site on my Mac running Jaguar. I've got a domain name and a site which is currently being hosted on an external server, but would like to have it run off my machine. How do I go about pointing the address to my mac?

P.s. I have a static IP too.

Howdy,

If you want to totally get rid of your external server then you'll need to have your DNS pointing to your server. If you have control over the DNS you're currently using you can do that there. If not, you'll need a DNS Hosting service.

http://www.dyndns.org/

That's a good one and it'll even work if you don't have a static IP.
