Working on something, installer needs to be able to install perl modules. Is there a method other than shell scripting an installation?

One of the scripts is Net-DNS.

Any advice, links, etc. greatly appreciated.

I was hoping not to bother with shell scripts (always hated them for some reason).

But I guess that's the best approach.
