hey check out http://www.tntgogod.com

it's a site I did for a friend of mine who is an evangelist.

I'd like to have some feedback, it's my first flash design project. Also, there is a jukebox movie in the banner, but and it shows up fine in safari, but in windows... it's toast.

any help would be great.

thanks

First things first. Splash page not needed. I just want to get to the home page imagine going to a splash page once a day each year ANNOY ING.

I don't want to have to listen to the music offer a way to turn it off.

Otherwise its pretty good. Just don't overdue the flash too much. Its borderline and I can't really complain about that.

Maybe it's me but...it seems incongruous to have an all Flash site that says, "Ministry in our millennium is saturated with HYPE! Our brains are blitzed with brochure eye-candy, tight promo videos and flashy websites. It’s hard to hear someone’s heart over the deafening noise of marketing machinery.

Also...if you are trying to appeal to younger people... it needs to use inclusive language (the site talks about "mans need" -- which is a spelling error BTW).

The navigation with the CD-ROM icon is too small and it's not clear what it does. I had this up in Safari 1.1.1 / OS 10.3.1 / Pismo 1024 screen.

Everything already said about the splash page...think of it being repeated here.

Small note - the intro page is titled 'Untitled Document'.

2 more small things:

WIth the flash navigation at the top, the 'Resources' and 'Tony's Links' round icons move slightly in their rollover state. The rest of them don't.

needs more drugs, violence & hatred. want me to whip some up for ya?

seriously though, i have to agree about the splash page. also, i really don't think there's much call for Flash on a site like this. i can see it's supposed to make it more... appealing? but, frankly, it comes across as "flashturbation," to me. i like the colour scheme. i'm not too keen on the audio though; especially on those buttons. ouch.

time for "harsh, but fair": you say it's your first flash project. it shows. try not do do things just because you can. exercise a little restraint. if i were to use an analogy here, i'd liken it to the guitar shredmeister who plays 3 million notes every lead break, to the blues guitarist who plays about 5. chances are, the blues guy hits his mark, and the shredder puts people off, purely because he's trying too hard.

i hope you read that the right way. stick at it.
