If you need/want to learn cocoa and objective-c there is a good and interesting way to do it.
It's to do code reviews for the Camino project. Code reviewing means reading a patch that's been attached in bugzilla, see if there is a problem in the code, like a leak, something that should not be done. Then you need to test the patch. If you are satisfaied with the patch add a + review in the bug. If not set the review to - and explain why you're setting the review to -.

Helping with Camino++;

How much programming experience do you have? If you're a fairly experienced programmer, then grab a Cocoa book (do a search on this forum for recommendations) and have fun. If you're new to programming, then I would highly recommend NOT jumping right into Camino. I planned to work on it (I'm a semi-but-not-very experienced programmer), but the code scared the hell out of me (also, I have no time).

Yeah, I keep wanting to help out with Camino too, but it's just so far beyond me (I'm also a just-beyond-beginning programmer), and you have to learn so much about the specific code before you can understand it enough.

My approach has been to get a good Cocoa programming book, read and do the tutorials for the first few chapters, and then jump in and start working on my own small application while using the book as a reference. That way I'm working with a code base that I understand....
