OK, I'm a complete newbie at web pages. I'm going to get .mac (my trial is almost done) and was thinking of also getting Freeway Express, to make fancier web pages. Downloaded a trial and it's MORE than I'll ever need.

So I made a really dumb page, just to try it out. Got to the "upload" part, and I don't know what to do. That's OK, I'll figure it out (doing the tutorial would probably help!) -- but before I plunk down 100 bucks, I want to make sure you can use this program with .mac. You can, right? I know a couple people have made really nice pages using Dreamweaver, with their .mac accounts.

Thanks in advance.

You can always just save the published files and copy them over yourself.

As for automatically publishing, just make sure that your iDisk is mounted, and then specify your Sites folder as the output location. As long as your iDisk is mounted when you publish, it ought to work.

And yes, Freeway is great.

Good Luck.

As york28 stated publishing to .mac is straight forward. Just mount your iDisk and select File Copy as the upload method in Freeway's Document Setup for your site. Then press Path to navigate to your sites folder inside your iDisk. Upload and save. Next time FW will remember the upload method and path, just remember to have your iDisk mounted first.

Publishing to .mac works just fine with Freeway as well as being a fantastic app. I'm very happy with it.
Sizzling like an isotope.

i've played with the trial version today and it seems absolutely great. Much more versatile than just .mac alone, yet still pretty easy to use. All I have to do now is actually get everything uploaded and published.

Thanks for all the help.
