Xcode debugger problem (no user input to the app?)

	Even with the console drawer open in the XCode debugger I seem to only be able to receive output from my applications. These are console applications requiring user input and they work fine in a standalone gdb session in a terminal, however in XCode I can only get output in the console drawer. Input doesn't seem to get registered at all. Am I missing something?
