Could y'all help me with some good learning and reference resources for php? I need to learn it for a project i am may be taking on. thanks for any ideas.
I am now going to tell the computer what he can do with a life-times supply of chocolate.

http://php.net is all I've ever used, and I've done some sizeable projects with php.

If you are already familiar with a scripting language, the PHP site is probably all you need, but a more comprehensive set of tutorials are at the DevShed site.

I find PHPBuilder.com quite useful because they have complete tutorials on very specific functionality and the forums are also very useful.

Last year I purchased PHP Developers Cookbook which I found to be very useful. Can't comment on the O'reilly PHP Cookbook, since I have not really looked at it, though I'm sure it is up to scratch.
