Ok, heres the dilema.

i Have made a page in DreamWeaver, after long painful hours of laboring thru this, its finally compelete, However it looks like putting it up on my .Mac account will be harder than actually making the site!

i Have made a local disk of my .Mac iDisk, And i have started and finished the page in that iDisk, however how do i get the page up and running to see the URL and the page on my browser? This has been a very frustrating week on this website, so ANY help would be great, ive been to numerous forums, DreamWeaver forums first, i dont think those pages are even active.. Then .Mac forums.. no one knows anything about dreamweaver.. So please help!

This is quite doable, in fact I hosted our church site on .Mac for a year.

BUT...you may have to move the files manually. I haven't tried the new "local copy of idisk" feature, but I never could get Dreamweaver to automatically post to iDisk.

Things to check...
1. Your home page must be called index.html. It must be in the Sites folder on the iDisk.

2. You can create whatever set of folders and files etc. you want in the Sites folder. Best to use relative links in your source.

3. The URL is http://homepage.mac.com/your-.Mac-account-name
You can also do http://homepage.mac.com/your-.Mac-ac...ame/index.html

thanks, and how do i create an index of my site, and when you say an index, your referring to everything that ive used to make it, folders, images and that stuff??

Sorry for the confusion. You should name the page you want to load first
index.html
This will automatically load when a user puts
http://homepage.mac.com/<yourusername>/ into their web browser.

You don't have to make an index of your site, index.html is just the name of the first page.
