Does anyone have the LDIF schema file that the "Address Book" understands? I am trying to export my Contacts from Enrourage and importing them to Address Book. i have tried various scripts written by other people and nothing has worked to my satisfaction. So, I want to write my own.

I would like to know if Address Book uses any special schema (objectclass) other than the standard ones such as: person, organizationalPerson, inetOrgPerson. It is straight forward if the Contact has only one e-mail address. If there are more than one, than it gets more complicated.

Just want to know if anyone has worked with LDIF for Address Book before.

LDIF is for LDAP sources....why not just export your contacts as vCard (.vcf) and just drop them into address book?
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

Because I have 1200 Contacts in Entourage. It will take forever to export them as vCards (to drag them to the desktop). The import side is as problematic. Also, i have encountered problem when there are any irregularities in the Contact item (i.e. address with more than 1 line, with ", etc). I want to do this regularly.
