I'm trying to teach myself CSS. I know DW inside and out, but every day, I feel more like tables just aren't cool anymore.

I've gone to the Barnes and Nobles here in the city, but the CSS books are all about code. I wish there was a Dreamweaver-centric CSS book out there?

Any recommendations?

I've found this site extremely useful:

If there's a resource any of you have found useful, please let me know.

Currently, I'm dissecting existing sites, and their CSS pages. DW also came with a few CSS examples. Thanks!

A nice starting point:
http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

Other sites:
http://www.meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/
http://www.chriscassell.net/projects/css/tests/

This site will attempt to explain any CSS code you have in plain english (or spanish):

The best basic CSS tutorial I've yet seen is here, inside the best HTML tutorial I've seen.

Yes, it's code-centric. Even as a DreamWeaver user, it's a very good idea to learn HTML, because HTML and CSS are actually very closely intertwined. Knowing how one works will help you with the other, even if you never code an HTML page by hand.

The tutorials are both very basic, but it'll teach you all the HTML you need to know, plus enough CSS to get started.

Even though it's a bit old, I would definately recommend Steve Mulders tutorial at webmonkey

Good luck!
