Can anyone recomend a tutorial for making a Perl/CGI password protected site. I don't need a big fancy long script that I could never possibly understand. Just something simple. Any suggestions?

If you are running Apache, the best way to password protect an area of the site is to use an .htaccess file. I could explain it, but this site does a great job...

And to create an encrypted password for the .htpasswd file (you'll learn about it if you read the site above), this site has a handy utility:
