ok, this function updates the registered services... thats great. Now how does one go and access all applications in said registered service? Any suggestions? starting points? etc..

I have no idea what you're talking about. Services don't contain applications.

All that method does is search the standard application directories and update the information gleaned from the plists therein.

- (void)findApplications
Examines all applications in the normal places (/Network/Applications, /Applications, /Developer/Applications) and updates the records of registered services and file types.

So lets get out of the Microsoft mid-set. There is a record containing Applications, I want to access that.
