Hi
I have an intranet .NET web site.
one of the users is mackintosh (mec g4 jaguar).
He has explorer on his machine but I have a problem.
It seems that IE for mac does not recognize the command "javascript:{window.open()}".
does anyone knows why or what should I do?
Thanks
Limor

It's Macintosh not "mackintosh" and Mac not "mec".
I highly doubt that what you are saying is true.
MSIE for Mac has been discontinued, ensure your site is standards compliant and it will probably work well in Safari and the Gecko-based browsers.
You might get a better response in the Web Developer forum.
Perhaps what's actually happening is that your user isn't using Internet Explorer and is using another browser that has popup windows disabled because they're annoying.

Well, maybe if it's on an intranet he can't give us access to it. Unless he means the internet.

I don't know much about web programming, but have you tried looking at Apple's Internet Developer pages? Like this page, and this one? (The last link has a window.open example.)
