Alright, I have read so many posts on here about how people want to develop certain applications that mimic some feature of the dock. There are almost no responses to the posts. So I post a challenge. Reverse engineer the dock... (shh dont tell anyone)

If we could reverse engineer the dock, we would have access to a lot of killer features, like making other application windows aware of where you application window is. The ability to know every single window that is open to visible applications. And some other great SystemUIServer integrations...

Sure it might be slightly illegal, but hey, thats what makes it fun!

Oops, either I didn't read that, or I have a really short memory span. Sorry. Either way, whoever wrote that hack is uber-awesome. But it is also unfortunate in a way... I don't want any old program to get the idea that it is somehow worthy to touch all of my windows. Some advice, if you're going to write a super duper window funker... make it really really good and perfectly stable, and I might (just MIGHT) play with it for more than a couple minutes. Otherwise it'll get deleted damn quick.

But probably I'll just deleted. I don't want to revert to the olden days of OS 9 where every app could play with all the others.
