Hi all

I've been using FrontPage (on my PC) for a while now and intend to use DreamWeaver on my Mac.

I'v read a lot of strenght on DW that it can create flash etc.

Questions :-

1) How do I import my existing webpage on to DW?
2) Can I add flashes on imported webpage (which I <if> succesfully downloaded)?
3) Should I stay with FP or convert to DW?

Thanking U in advance for your productive advise.

Regards
sbw

1. Site Window > New Site > locate your site pages, fill in the properties
2. yup
3. FP can add a lot of FP-only nasties, which don't run on all servers. you're probably better shifting full-time to DW

hope that helped

My steps as follow :-

1) Site
2) New Site
3) on Basic folder, I put in Site Name
4) on Advance folder, I dont know what to put on [b]Default Images Folder [/b, so I leave it blank
5) on HTTP Address I put in my website address (to be import)
6) Cache : Checked
7) I click OK
8) Do you want to work with a server technology such as etc I put NO
9) How do you want to work with your files during development? I put Edit local copies etc
10) Site Definition How do you connect to your remote server?

And NOTHING happened

Is there anything that I missed out?
