I really want to learn how to write Apps in Cocoa but I have no idea where to begin. Are there any tutorials or books that I can leanr from?

I dont have a backgrounf in programming so would this be hard for me to learn?

I pretty much have an idea what my first app would be. I want to build an apps that calculates a few differnt Batting Statistics. How hard would something like that be to make?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Do some searches on this site. I know there have been several topics like this in the past where many books were suggested.

It's all in here; you just have to do a little hunting.

Without any background in programming you won't learn it overnight, but it's not too bad. Search here and of course Apple's site, there are some good tutorials at Apple.com.

http://developer.apple.com/

Look for the currency converter tutorial, it will be similar to what you're looking to do.
And here's another calculator type app I did back when I was first learning Cocoa, it's for MPG (miles per gallon) calculations:

The download is a folder containing the source code.
