Java Swinging of course...

My next gig will likely require lots of Swing. I'm confident that I know the basics and not too interested in getting into the nitty gritty of creating look and feels or overriding obscure methods etc.

I need to find some literature about Swing patterns and best practices. Most books on Swing a sort of encyclopedias of classes, methods and properties. That can only take you so far. I was wondering if such literature exists somewhere, any ideas?

Thanks,

I second the "Swing" book. Very good and solid examples.

I also, self-interestingly, plug Foam - check it out at http://www.computersinmotion.com.

That one is indeed very good but I was thinking more in terms of patterns i.e., looking for some design focused book and not as much into the API. Is a fishing expedition, just wanted to hear from you guys.
