Does anyone have any suggestions on moving a windows title to align left next to the action buttons? Im thinking APE, but I wonder if anyone else has a better idea... This would be for all applications / windows. And It will be written in obj-c.

Yea, it might be a trivial thing, but hey, god is in the details.

I wouldn't say it's trivial at all. Plus you can't "write it in Obj-C" since lots of apps are Carbon or have Carbon foundations. So you'd need to patch the needed code in all the languages OS X apps can use. Fun

Isnt it fair to say that this is one of the great useages for Unsanity's APE?

Well, no. It sounds like a stupid, ugly idea to me. But that's only my personal opinion. Just because I wouldn't use it shouldn't stop you from trying

No, you asked if it was "one of the great useages for Unsanity's APE." Angus was saying that, no, this is not a particularly great use of APE. It isn't Angus' fault that your phrasing was not the question you wanted to ask. Now stop whining about other posters; it won't create any degree of goodwill towards you.

And yes, APE was meant for run-time patching of programs. That's probably the easiest way to accomplish what you want to do.
