Hi,

I have a domain I want to register, but I would like to find a low cost ($10 or less per year) domain registrar that won't go out of business, and has instant WHOIS record updates.

Any ideas?

Also, what about hosting? I am going to need a cheap, but has everything package. Maybe that will include a free domain? I was looking at mysitespace.com, but if you can find better, please let me know! I probably will need lots of data transfer.

Thanks!

What optimus said. godaddy is all I use for regs and for hosting. Cheap, reliable, and they actually have customer service. Real humans you can speak to on the phone. I recommend them highly.

I've found PowerPipe to be pretty reliable and only $7.99 a year.

I've been very happy with GoDaddy as well. I use it for my domain and have for the last 3 or 4 years, when I transferred to them from Network Solutions/Verisign.

I use godaddy.com too, but when I enter a domain name and hit Go, I get a safari message that says the certificate has expired. Does this happen for anyone else? When I click OK, it loads, but not all of the images. So if I didn't know the buttons well enough, I wouldn't be able to get around.

Is this just met?
