Hello, I'm in need of a developer for what I believe is a very small project.

I need something similar to ftp droplet:

http://www.subrosasoft.com/thestore/...roducts_id=426

FTP Droplet works great until you try to use it within my School Districts intranet. The command line FTP app works wonderfully within the Intranet though.

So essentially what I need is something that will upload a file that is dropped on it. I think the easiest way to accomplish this would probably be to make a front end to the command line ftp app. The app would then need to copy into the clipboard a webaddress that I define with the file name appended to the end. If I upload a file named "picture.jpg" it would put this in the clipboard after the upload completed:

http://www.theaddress.com/images/picture.jpg

I need this for the teachers in my district to go along with their classroom and school blogs that are becoming a pretty big thing. I'm the district webmaster but the district network manager wants a solution like this because he is very security conscious. The ftp login and password would be preferably not be visible to the user. I am willing to pay but keep in mind I'm a teacher and not flush with cash. However, I'm also pretty desperate. SubrosaSoft can't figure out what is wrong with their app in our network or I would go with them.

Is there anyone here who would be interested in helping me out here? Or do you know someone who could?

I'd be glad to do it - I already have a wrapper for curl built, which supports dragging files. So I'd only have to add the pasteboard bit.

E-Mail me at luke@lukesands.com or talk to me on ichat (sandsl@mac.com).
