Hi all,

In a show of hands, what is your favoriate Content Management System?

I have had limited experience in this field, but my favorite so far has been Movable Type. It has limitations, but is an easy install - comes with nice css/xhtml and nice support.

I found that link from the "wysiwyg kida system forum" this morning, and it's just awesome! I can tell that it's going to open up a whole new world for me, and I went through every single CMS link.

What is your preference for CMS? Any one that you are particularly endeered to?

Talk to you later!

if it's just a news archive, i'll just make it myself. it doesn't look like everything else on the internet then.

My favorite is the one that I helped write, along with Dirk Monson and Rob Scheeler. We've written it for a school district, but we may go commercial with it. It powers this site:

www.minot.k12.nd.us

If I could offer access to the inner workings, I surely would. But security concerns and yet buggy software prevent me from doing so. However, you can have a look at some of the modules, etc. that are currently under construction from the above link.

if you have a big appetite for learning, Typo3 seems pretty top notch:

I would highly recommend Geeklog. It doesn't have all the features of Nuke, but it has a much better design and a superb security model.

i've been playing with geeklog for the past week or so.
it's pretty easy to create a theme for, which is one reason i'm growing fond of it.
and the admin interface is intuitive.

in the process of creating a css table-free theme.

Check out http://www.axonz.com/

The guy over there made a theme for Geeklog which is almost completely table-free. It's quite nice.

Good luck with your theme! It'll be nice having some more CSS-heavy themes out there.
